1. Organizing Authority

Inportrace, other volunteers (Session Masters)

2. Rules

2.1 The regatta will be governed by the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012

2.2 The regattas will be held using Sail Simulator in its last incarnation.

2.3 When there is a conflict of languages the english language will prevail.

3. Eligiblity

3.1 The Bavaria League is limited to 42.000 (fourty-two-tousend) participants.

3.2 Entry  is open to any participant.

3.3 To be scored for the event you have to at least participate in a minimum number of five (5) races.  

3.4 To register (not needed to participate, but allow you to track individual results of races etc.)  You have to submit the following info by e-mail.

4 Format

4.1  An unspecified number of races will be sailed. (many)

4.2 On request assigned Hosts (Session Master) may organize races at any time during.

4.3 The races results will be used to rate each participant. Participants must at least sail 5 races, with some limitations may sail more races. As set out in the Sailing Instructions.

4.4 The highest scored boats (60) will qualify for the finals in April

4.5 Boatclass: All races will be sailed in the Bavaria 36

5 Schedule

5.1 Races will generally take place on thurdays from 20:00 UTC (21:00 GMST, 22:00 CET).

5.2 Races will generally conclude before thursdays 22:00 UTC (23:00 GMST, 24:00 CET).

5.3 Unanounced races may be conducted by Hosts (Session Master) at any time during the qualification period from 1st of October until 6th of April.

5.4 Organized Qualifiers will generally be sailed on thursdays.

5.5 Finals will be held in April 2010 thursday. there will be no unnanounced races for the finals.

6 Sailing Instructions

6.1 Sailing Instructions will be published 24.00 hrs prior to start of races.

7 Courses

7.1 Courses are

Cabrera Paperclip 1.2/1.8 NM  North/West. Courses can be downloaded from Inportrace.com 's download section.

8 Scoring

8.1 Qualification is through rating,  the 60 highest participants qualify. The minimum number of concluded races must be 5, there is no maximum.

8.2 Ratings will be continuously publicised here:

8.2 Finals scoring is by low-points, the lowest sum over 3 races wins the tournament.
