First of all, you must know that you will be the only one who can see your skin, the others players won’t be able to see it! It‘s only for personal use.

You can download skin in the "Downloads"-section of InPortRace.com
Save it in a folder called SS5 skin, cause your skin will automatically be erase after an SS5 update. So you must reinstall it after a new release.
Unzip your downloaded file. You should now have  1 file called "preview" and the other files should be called *_dm0.dds or *_lm0.dds (* means the boattype)

Now open the folder :
C:/program files/Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats/

Then open the folder of the boat skin you downloaded,
For examples, if I download skins for 470 I will now open
 C:/program files/Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats/470/ (I can also choose «470_ned» depending on which one I want to change.)

Now, just past your "preview" unzipped file in the image folder
 C:/program files/Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats/470/images

And all *_dm0.dds,  *_lm0.dds files in
 C:/program files/Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats/470/3DObjects

You can also change the wetsuit skin of your crew. You can download a "Luke and Erik" wetsuit-skin in the 470 downloads (skins) section.
These are not only for 470.
When you are in the boats folder; C:/program files/Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats
You can choose any boat, open the 3DObjects folder, here you will see wich crew is used for this boat. There is only 4 different crew for all the boats, Kim, Chloe, Erik and Luke. At the moment only skin for luke and erik are avaiable in the "Downloads"-section
For example ;
I want to change the crew skin for the laser. We will use the "laser_blue" cause in original laser it's Chloe who steer the ship
We download the Erik and Luke skin in 470 download section
When you open the 3DObject folder in C:/program files/Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats/laser_Blue, you can see that the crew used here is Luke, so you just copy and past the Luke skin you just downloaded into that folder.
You can do this with all the boats, just make sure that you replace the right crew member.
